Kenny Cheng
Designer based in San Diego, CA
I design captivating and functional tools and experiences that tackle business objectives and help people's lives.
I believe good design can make meaningful impact on people's lives.
Currently, I'm a Product Designer at Stranger Creative, where I help build products and brands through human-centered design, UX, and innovation. Throughout my career, I've worked alongside teams across various disciplines and stages of growth—from startups and Fortune 500 companies to grassroots political organizing teams and non-profits.
I'm passionate about creating products and experiences that solve real problems, especially those that serve historically underrepresented or marginalized communities, and seek to create through community-minded and justice-oriented practices. This has led me to helping run QTBIPOC Design, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC designers.
Outside of design…
I'm a gamer (currently logging many, many hours in Teamfight Tactics and Fortnite), a huge pop music nerd, and a Jeopardy fanatic.
In my free time, I enjoy running, climbing rocks, cooking new dishes, and staying up to date on RuPaul's Drag Race!
